Few of Facebook’s best games

Ever wondered what makes Facebook so interesting? Why do you want to visit it over and over again? Just think over it and you would realize that there are lots of things that appeal to you but none of them appeals more than the ever so interesting Facebook games.

These games are now an integral part of Facebook and you can easily observe the upward trend in number of games and number of players playing them. The best part about these social games on Facebook is that not only they are interesting and engaging but they also lead to discovery of new friendships.  This is why I just love these games and I don’t my mind investing over an hour a day in my favorite games like The Hatchery and Metropolis.

These two games are just few of the masterpieces developed by Kramaley Games, a company that was founded by David Tenemaza nearly a year ago. The company had been the home to some of the most entertaining games of Facebook. In fact, just to give you a hint about the popularity of their games here is a fact – “In the sea of more than 25000 games where not many games receive more than 100 visits, The Hatchery has received more than half a million players since it was first released .”

Motorola Gearing Up For New Year with New Phones

After losing the battle of top US cell phone vendor to Samsung, it seems that Motorola has learnt a few lessons. Their RAZR was extremely popular, until the launch of iPhone (which broke all sales records). Well what is past is history and hopefully New Year would be a bit better for Motorola.

FLASH
CALGARY
INFERNO

RUSH 2

Motorola are planning to launch 4 brand new mobile phones, which by the looks are far better than RAZR. Three of these four mobiles are touch screen and all of them have their full names (Flash, Rush 2, Calgary and Inferno). These mobile phones are likely to be available in packages with Verizon.

Hopefully these mobile phones will breath new life into Motorola’s dying sales and profit margins.

4 Port USB Revolving Hub

It’s always nice to have a few more USB ports, preferably at the front end of your PC. However most of the PC’s usually come with two or three USB slots at the front.

Most of us use USB extensions to make use of some of unused USB slots at the rear end of the PC, but even with the most sophisticated USB extension, it is pretty hard to harness all the functionality. Keeping this in mind a company has released a 4 port USB revolving hub. The hub as visible in the image has 4 ports, two of which are fixed and the rest can rotate up to 90 degrees.

These USB hubs have been designed pretty nicely as well. It is available in two base colors – black and white, each of them having a bit of flower decoration on the top.

It is available for a price of $ 12 only.

SanDisk Cruzer Enterprise integrates McAfee protection

USB drives have made the job of transferring data very easy. Now we can easily transfer data in GB’s without the hassle of finding a new DVD or CD every time. It not only saves times but also is very convenient to carry and store.

Having said that it also suffers from a basic defect i.e. it acts as a virus career and the fact that it can be used over and over again only intensifies the problem. In fact it was only a few days back when US army banned their usage after a virus from a USB drive plagued their networks.

However it seems that SanDisk has found a solution to this problem as well. They have introduced a secure USB drive named Cruzer Enterprise which has built in McAfee Antivirus security feature. The USB drive conducts an automatic virus scan and denies any data transfer if it recognizes any virus.

This is a wonderful breakthrough which is likely to re-boost the confidence of people in USB drives.

Microsoft LIVE To Get a Makeover and a New Name

Microsoft is all set to change the image of its search engine LIVE with a complete makeover sometime early next year.  This make over would not only include change of the overall look of LIVE but also shifting of search Business to some new name.

Sources say that the new search is most likely to be called as ‘Kumo’ which means ‘cloud’ or ‘spider’ in Japanese.

From what I understand from the whispers in the blogosphere this rebranding may be the final step in LIVE completely taking over the role of a social network.  This would mean that people would not only go there to search but also to access email, photos, and other things, something very similar to what we have a Yahoo right now.

Some of the critics believe that this is the right step after Microsoft failed to overtake Yahoo earlier this year.

Let’s hope that we get to see a better LIVE (or Kumo)

Technology Involvement

There are millions of websites and the Internet is growing day by day. It is expected to grow at the similar rate until there would be a saturation level but until then why should we suffer. I have seen thousands of blogs and websites having same design , which they buy from a particular service.

There is a secret to customer retention , which we are studying in MBA course and that is distinct looks, so you should try to have a website which is different from all the other’s present online. For this you would need help of some persons like a PSD coder who will code your design your imaginations and design into a PSD template.

After your design is converted in PSD template , it now requires psd to html conversion which should be taken care of as a smallest mistake would lead to un XHTML template and won’t look good. I have a friend who is good in converting templates from PSD to html but then he is a noob in this field so I would request you guys to look for some authentic service like HTML Markup to get your PSD converted into HTML.
