Although a bit late , Nokia too has added dual sim mobile phones in its already impressive product list. It has just announced C1 series of cheap double sim mobile phones . This series includes three new mobile phones C1-00 , C1-01 and C1-02.

The numbering of these phones is a bit confusing. Out of the three only C1-00 (or C1) supports double sim functionality meaning that it can house two different sim cards but only one will remain active at a time. You can however hold a key to switch between the two SIM cards.

One of the most amazing features of Nokia C1 is its battery life. It can last 42 days on standby and provide almost 4 hours of talktime. It is the longest battery backup for any Nokia mobile phone.

C1 runs Symbian 30 interface , can store 500 phone book entirer and 250 text messages. Other features include full color screen, a flashlight , FM radio support and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. It weighs in at 73 grams and will be available in blue , red , light grey and green colors. Nokia C1 is expected to be available by the third quarter of 2010.

The other two phones C1-01 and C1-02 have a single sim card slot but offer features like GPRS, Bluetooth, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and MP3 player . Additioaly the Nokia C1-01 comes with a VGA camera as well. These two mobile phones are expected in the last quarter of 2010 .

The pricing of these mobile phones are as follows.

Nokia C1-00 : 30 Euros , 37 Dollars , Rs 1763

Nokia C1-01 : 39 Euros , 47 Dollars

Nokia C1-02 : 35 Euros , 43 Dollars

Motorola have been famous for unconventional designing and styling of their mobile phones. Be it the ultra sleek RAZR or the Backflip the styling part has always stood out.

Going with the same trend Motorola is going to release a new phone with stand out designing. It’s called the FlipOut ( Even has an out in its name ).

It is a square design (rare for mobile phones) with a display that rotates to reveal a full QWERTY Keypad.

Motorola FlipOut will run on Google’s Android 2.1 Operating System for mobiles. It will be 3G and Wi-Fi ready and would also come preloaded with GPS and hopefully with MotoNav maps too. An enhanced version of MotoBlur User Interface will surely ensure that social networking freaks don’t miss anything on this beast.

3.1 MP camera

Five-row full QWERTY keyboard

So you have decided to purchase a new cell phone , it might be a costly one and what about the old used cell phone. It might have served you enough but today if you purchase the new cell phone then what will happen to the old used cell phone. The simplest thing is to recycle cell phone which are not in use.

Even in my case , I was using a Nokia 1100 cell phone and I purchased N73 Music edition (price $300) that time. I did not use the old phone for some time and eventually it was a dead phone lying in my drawer. Then one day I purchased a new connection and I had requirement of a new mobile phone but was short of money so eventually used my old cell phone.

But if today I have a requirement of a new phone then I will do one thing and that is trade in cell phone which will give a fair amount of price of my used cell phone and either I will receive a check for the amount and I can purchase a new one with that amount. This work is being done by FlipSwap Inc which last year alone traded in at least 800000 cell phone which could have resulted in more than 80 tons of solid waste.

What you would have to do is follow simple steps.

Step 1. Register at Flipswap.com

Step 2. Select the model you are using eg. Nokia, Iphone, Razr etc

Step 3. Fill the details about the model.

Step 4. According to details the fair amount would be calculated.

Step5. Take the print of the receipt that you get on your computer.

Step 6. Send the cell phone to FlipSwap.

Remember the shipping is free of cost and , is paid by FlipSwap Inc. You will get the cash or in store credit which is guaranteed by more than 6000 retailers across the US. If you are looking to trade your used cell phone then it is the right time to do it.

The handset name would be Motorola W 233 Renew.

According to the sources Moto Renew has been carved out of used plastic bottles, (not a difficult task but definitely commendable).

Moto W 233 has got a characteristic green shell, which obviously represents Moto’s effort. As far as the looks are concerned the phone is not the one you would like to die for. It would have been nice if Motorola had come up with something more interesting to match up with their concept.

It would be fun to see what you as users think of this product.

Motorola are planning to launch 4 brand new mobile phones, which by the looks are far better than RAZR. Three of these four mobiles are touch screen and all of them have their full names (Flash, Rush 2, Calgary and Inferno). These mobile phones are likely to be available in packages with Verizon.

Hopefully these mobile phones will breath new life into Motorola’s dying sales and profit margins.
