Graeme asks: I have been trying to enable multiple sign in and link up two of my Gmail accounts but it is not working! What am I doing wrong and how do I enable Gmail multiple sign in?
For the users who registered more than one Gmail username, Google introduced the multiple sign in feature. Apart from Gmail, users can use multiple sign in for other Google products such as iGoogle, Code, Calendar, Finance, Profiles, Reader, Sites, Voice, Docs and Web Search. This feature supports users to be signed in into a maximum of ten accounts at a time.
Here is a step by step guide on enabling Gmail Multiple Sign In
Step 1: Click on your email/ username on top right hand corner and click on Account Settings.
Step 2: Click on Edit next to Multiple Sign In.
Step 3: Select “On- Use Multiple Google Accounts in same web browser” and check all the boxes as shown in the image.
Step 4: Click Save and Sign Out of your account to let this feature take effect.
How to Use Multiple Sign In
Step 1: Click on your email/ username on top right hand corner and click on Switch Account.
Step 2: Click “Sign in to another account”.
Step 3: Fill in your username and password and sign in to second account.
You can now use multiple Gmail accounts (up to 10) simultaneously in different tabs of the same web browser.
