Filter Search Results in Google Chrome

While searching for some particular term, we often come across useless search results or web pages that are overcrowded by advertisements.  The annoying aspect is that no matter what search term you enter, these sites turn up over and over again, wasting your important time and lowering the overall browsing experience.

Thanks to the power of extensions, you can now eliminate such domains from search results or in simpler terms, filter your search results. The extension ‘Search Filter’ has been developed for Chrome users and is compatible with all major search engines – Google, Yahoo and Bing.

You can install Search Filter from here. Once installed, you would see a tiny red delete button appearing next to every search result as visible in the image below.

To eliminate a domain from search results, click on delete button. Click on the Add Filter on the pop up box that appears.

Once you block any domain with Search filter, the particular domain will be eliminated for all search terms that you search for in Chrome.

This extension will surely save lots of your precious time and improve over all browsing experience. You can easily disable the feature or remove filter for any particular website.
