Reliance 3G Tariff Plans for Postpaid and Prepaid Services.

Reliance Communications on 13^th December became the fourth national operator and the second private operator to enter the 3G space as it announced the launch of their 3G services in 4 major cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chandigarh. It also expressed plans to launch 3G services in rest of 9 circles within next three months.

The tariffs for 3G data usage are looking attractive, cheaper and far simpler that what is being offered by Tata DoCoMo.

Following is a brief of what Reliance Communications is offering.

3G Video calling will not be available right away. Reliance is in process of seeking security clearance for video service which it expects to be done within a few days.

Both bundled 3G plans with data, voice and video and only data plans are available.

3G Data only plans range from Rs 100 to Rs 2100.

Bundled Combo offer starts from (Voice and Data) for post-paid range from Rs 199 to Rs 2499 while combo offers for prepaid range from Rs 299 to Rs 699.

Postpaid users can have access to 300 minutes of free calling and 50 Mb of data in Rs 199 Plan, 1000 minutes of free calling and 100 Mb data in Rs 499 plan and 6000 minutes of free calling , 6000 SMS’s and 5GB data in Rs 2499 plan.

Prepaid users can have access to 200 MB data and 300 free calls for Rs 299 and 500 MB data and 600 free calls for Rs 699.

Reliance’s 3G network is capable to offer peak speeds of up to 28 Mbps.
