The Seagate external drive is one solidÂlooking drive. 
It comes across clearly from its build that the product is designed to withstand rough treatment. The hard drive supports USB 2.0 and has two FireWire ports so that you can daisy-chain devices.
The power plug pins were not compatible with our power sockets, so we used the computer power cord which,to our delight, fitted perfectly- both to the power adapter and to our power outlet.
Sporting a bulky metallic gray finish, the device includes a button on the front panel, which allows you to back up folders or drives with the mere touch of your hand. It is configurable with BounceBack Express, the software provided with the drive.
